Passion Allied Health Institute provides high-quality, state-approved caregiver training for home care agencies to increase caregiver knowledge. Caregivers will be able to complete all of their needed training from an easy-to-use mobile-friendly platform designed around their style of learning. Home care agencies know their caregivers are current with their training requirements and are able to manage their state specific compliance needs.

. Making an unoccupied bed

. Turning recipient side to side in bed
. Wear gloves when appropriate
. Transfer non-ambulatory recipient from the bed to chair or wheelchair
. Giving a partial bath to bed confined recipient
. Giving a complete bath to bed confined recipient
. Giving tub/shower bath
. Perineal care male/female
. Skin care
. Hair care including shaving the male recipient
. Providing passive range of motion exercises
. Oral hygiene with/without dentures
. Recipient’s laundry
. Dressing or assisting with dressing the recipient
. Assisting recipient with self-administered medications
. Preparing and serving the recipient a meal
. Feeding recipient who is unable to self feed
. Cleaning/straightening recipient area and other areas used by the recipient including kitchen and bath.
. Wear and bath
. Wear gloves when appropriate
. Recipient’s laundry
Classes to help caregivers develop skills such as time management, empathy, and specialized client care (e.g dementia, respiratory conditions, and heart conditions)
Complete set of classes needed to meet all state requirements for caregiver training.
There will be a Spanish translator available in the institute class to assist students.
Ability to send personalized text messages to caregivers.
